I've been wearing this watch
"I've been wearing this watch daily for a week now and so far I'm quite impressed. The build quality feels solid and the finishing looks sharp and clean. The chronograph feature works nicely, the chrono seconds hand has a nice sweeping motion pretty much like in lower beat mechanical watches and the hands return accurately to their appropriate positions when resetting/resuming the chronograph. The pushers and the crown feel sturdy enough and time keeping is naturally quite accurate as usually with quartz driven watches. Legibility could be a bit better at certain lighting conditions due to the combination of colours and finishing used on the hands and the subdials. The lume is also pretty weak especially on the indexes but all in all I've never had too much trouble reading the time when needed. The date window was a slight concern for me as whether it will "crowd" the dial and pop out too much but to my pleasant surprise it actually blends in quite nicely. Most of the time I don't even notice it until I need it. The numbers are subtle yet clear to read. What comes to the case design I quite like the separate battery compartment on the back as it makes battery replacement a bit easier and eliminates the need for special tools for opening the whole caseback. I also like the general look and shape of the case although it might make finding 3rd party replacement straps that both fit and look proportionate to the watch a bit more challenging due to the "hidden lugs". To me a standard 18 mm strap looks a bit skinny for the watch that measures around 22,5 mm at the point where the strap "dives in" to the case. That's a matter of individual taste of course and each to their own. That being said the leather strap supplied with the watch seems to be of decent quality and it feels surprisingly comfortable to wear right out of the box. I decided to swap the leather for a 20 mm canvas strap that I notched at the ends to fit the ("hidden") 18 mm lugwidth, simply because I prefer canvas."
