Mineral crystals use a similar material to windowpane glass and were developed for watches as a harder alternative to acrylic. Mineral crystals are still susceptible to scratches but less so than acrylic, however it is not possible to buff out these scratches as it is with acrylic. Mineral glass is not as shatter resistant as acrylic but does offer greater transparency and clarity. Due to their improved scratch resistance versus acrylic, and improved shatter resistance versus sapphire, mineral is often considered to be the best of both worlds as a crystal material.

"Die Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell und die Uhr wurde in einer hochwertigen Peanuts-Geschenkbox geliefert. Ich besitze bereits mehrere Snoopy-Uhren von Timex, und auch dieses Modell gefällt mir sehr gut. Das Ziffernblatt mit Snoopy und Woodstock ist hochwertig verarbeitet und insgesamt etwas dezenter gestaltet als bei anderen Modellen. Durch den weißen Hintergrund lässt sich die Uhrzeit gut ablesen. Die Indiglo-Beleuchtung ist praktisch, besonders bei Dunkelheit. Das Textilband ist relativ dünn, was ich für den Sommer aber durchaus angenehm finde. Es war etwas lang, ließ sich jedoch problemlos kürzen – einfach abschneiden und die Enden vorsichtig mit einem Feuerzeug versiegeln. Insgesamt macht die Uhr einen hochwertigen Eindruck und ich freue mich jedes Mal, wenn ich auf das Ziffernblatt schaue."
