Some Watches Fear the Water. This One Calls It Home.

The Deepwater Meridian 200 HEV is expertly engineered with 200m of water resistance and a 44mm stainless-steel case. You’ll find an automatic helium escape valve positioned beside 10 o’clock, allowing trapped helium to safely release during decompression and prevent damage to the crystal. The metallic blue dial features vertical brushing for added depth and texture, while inside ticks a Miyota 21-jewel automatic movement powered by your motion. We’ve equipped this timepiece with a screw-down crown and screw-on case back, a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and a sturdy crown protector. A unidirectional ratcheting top ring with a ceramic inlay and Super-LumiNova® in-fill pairs with Super-LumiNova® hands and hour markers to deliver the visibility you rely on below the surface. Its rugged build is complete with a UV-resistant HNBR synthetic rubber strap equipped with quick-release spring bars for fast strap changes on deck and beyond

Sapphire Crystal

Nearly impossible to scratch, the sapphire crystal lens is as hard and clear as a gemstone. There are only a few materials known to the world that can scratch it.

Sapphire Crystal

Scratch-resistant

Sapphire is the hardest crystal available. Given its hardness it is near impossible to scratch, however, it can be prone to shattering if subjected to a heavy impact. Its scratch resistance is very desirable and as such there is a higher cost to sapphire versus other crystals.
