There is nothing quite as
"There is nothing quite as maddening as a watch that looks stunning in the box or on the wrist, but turns checking the time into a frustrating puzzle. When brands (and Timex is definitely guilty of this at times) make the hour, minute, and sometimes even second hands identical in width, finish, or style without a clear hierarchy, reading it at a quick glance becomes nearly impossible. Legibility relies entirely on visual contrast—different lengths, distinct widths, or contrasting tips—so forcing someone to stare at the dial multiple times just to figure out where the hands are defeats the primary purpose of wearing a watch. At least it makes for a great dress piece when you're somewhere you don't actually need to rush, but it's a real disappointment when a gorgeous design falls flat on usability"
