Mineral crystals use a similar material to windowpane glass and were developed for watches as a harder alternative to acrylic. Mineral crystals are still susceptible to scratches but less so than acrylic, however it is not possible to buff out these scratches as it is with acrylic. Mineral glass is not as shatter resistant as acrylic but does offer greater transparency and clarity. Due to their improved scratch resistance versus acrylic, and improved shatter resistance versus sapphire, mineral is often considered to be the best of both worlds as a crystal material.

I like it, and love
"I like it, and love it relative to cost and quality. I do not like large cases. I started life out with a 37. 5 Tag and had an Ironman way back. As I look to add a few new watches, I like what Timex has going on. I love watches and own a variety. I believe Timex could do something with a smaller Marlin…a Marlin Jet with a stainless bracelet. The Easy Reader face is a bit too white if I had to be critical. The bracelet is great but it does pull hairs which you have to get used to."

Once done, press down on the textured part and insert the opposite end to reconnect the band. Your Perfect Fit™ expansion band should now be adjusted comfortably.
